As previously reported, LOUDNESS vocalist Minoru Niihara's long standing second band XYZ-A, formed in 1999, released their fifth full length album, Wings, in North America under the name ASIAN TYPHOON via Nightmare Records on March 18th. It was originally released in Japan in 2006.
The official Asian Typhoon MySpace page is up and running at this location. The songs 'Screamers' and 'Heavy Road' are available for streaming on the page.
The Wings tracklist is as follows: 'Heavy Road', 'A Man Has Captured The Sun', 'I Love The Rock N' Roll Life', 'Screamers', 'I Am Addicted To You', 'Optimism - Self Therapy', 'Absolutely Wonderful Night', 'Incubation', 'For Whom The Bell Tolls', 'Wings - Fire Bird' (medley).
This is the band's first official North American release. The name Asian Typhoon was originally the title of XYZ-A's debut album.
