MANOWAR Bassist Joey DeMaio - 'The New Album Will Be More Guitar-Oriented'

MANOWAR bassist Joey DeMaio spoke with Metalitalia.com recently and he declared that the new album will be more guitar oriented. "At first we thought about pursuing the symphonic approach," DeMaio remarked, "but then we said 'no, let's never make the same album sound twice'. This one will be as heavy, but more guitar".

On July 18, 2009 at the Loreley on the Rhine River in Germany, the Magic Circle Festival will open the gates of Asgard. Manowar is creating the music as Wolfgang Hohlbein is writing the book, based on the tale of Thor, the God of Thunder and norse mythology.
