MARDUK Cancel Athens Show

Swedish black metallers MARDUK have cancelled their January 15th, 2008 show at the Underworld Club in Athens, Greece. A statement released by the Athens-based booking agency Sold Out Promotion reads as follows:
"The reasons of the cancellation are due to the band. The management of the touring party informed us that the transportation of the touring party to Athens from Turkey by ferry is impossible and so there is no other option than to cancel the show. We are sorry for any inconvenience this cancellation may cause but unfortunately it’s beyond our control."IN BATTLE, ZONARIA and ARTISIAN were also scheduled to perform.
