According to Paul Cashmere from Undercover.com.au, MEAT LOAF was paid $1000 for the vocal tracks he recorded for TED NUGENT's 1976 Free For All - one year before the release of Bat Out Of Hell.

He sang on the album and pretty much did all of the arrangements but at the time he said he needed the money.

Meat Loaf told Undercover that after he agreed to do the album he was sent a lyric sheet for every song, just the words, not the arrangements. He had no idea what the songs were going to sound like so he had to make it up as he went along.

Ted Nugent paid him $1000 for his two days work.

Meat Loaf's new album Hang Cool Reddy Bear, is due out in April.
