MEGADETH Leader Dave Mustaine's Gigantour To Return In 2012

In a new video interview with Kevin and Ian of Metal Shop (Seattle's KISW 99.9 FM), MEGADETH leader Dave Mustaine confirms the return of Gigantour, his traveling metal festival, "next year".
Says Mustaine: "We just started booking that last week. We've got three of the four bands booked and confirmed, but we're gonna wait until the whole package is set before we say it. But I'm pretty excited about that. I always thought the Gigantour is a really cool vibe, because it's about the guitar playing. Now, these bands that are gonna be part of Gigantour (next) year aren't shredding bands by any means, but I think they're cool just the same. There's really not a lot of great bands left to go out and tour (with) that are guitar playing bands. Most people got afraid of doing guitar solos — probably because they couldn't.

Megadeth has set TH1RT3EN as the title of its new and 13th album, tentatively due this November via Roadrunner Records. The CD was recorded at the band's own recording facility - Vic's Garage studio - in San Marcos, California with producer Johnny K (DISTURBED, 3 DOORS DOWN, FINGER ELEVEN).
At a one-off gig from the European Big 4 shows (July 4th), Megadeth debuted their new track, 'Public Enemy No.1', live in Hamburg, Germany at the Docks.
"I wanted to do something for you tonight to show you how much we appreciate you instead of saying you're a great audience," leader Dave Mustaine told the crowd. "We're gonna play a new song for you. This song is from our new record, [it's] never been played anywhere, never been heard by anybody but us. This song is called 'Public Enemy No. 1'."Watch fan-filmed footage of the new track below:
