MELIAH RAGE Frontman On Mission To Haiti
November 3, 2010, 14 years ago
MELIAH RAGE frontman Mike Munro is headed to Haiti on a mission. On November 4th Munro, a deeply faithful Christian, will be applying his carpentry skills along with a team of 20 in Haiti for eight days to build a second floor on a school house in St. Michel. The school serves 450 children in the area and there is also an orphanage housing 29 children on the site. Monadnock Bible Conference Center has a program reaching out to Haiti with short term mission trips 8-10 times per year (both teams of builders as well as medical personnel).
In other news, Meliah Rage is close to finishing the re-mix of the 2004 record Barely Human. The record is being re-mix by Ted Ostrander at Red Devil Studio in Stoughton, MA and a cover version of the ALICE COOPER song 'Halo Of Flies' is being recorded by producer Pete Rutcho and will be added as a bonus track.
