ALICE COOPER returned to LA's iconic Whiskey-A-Go-Go for the first time in over 40 years to treat fans to his most intimate show in decades. Alice joked about his last appearance at the Whiskey in 1969, where he opened for some “little band called LED ZEPPELIN."

Celebrating the release of his brand new album, Welcome 2 My Nightmare, Alice proclaimed to be a “Sunset Strip bar band” for the night and ripped through a storming set of Alice classics, choice covers and brand new songs, including stellar new single, 'I'll Bite Your Face Off'.

Introduced by ROB ZOMBIE (who quipped “I feel like I've spent the last two years giving Alice Cooper awards... but he deserves it”), the star-studded Hollywood audience also included RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE's Tom Morello, KISS legends Paul Stanley, Tommy Thayer and Eric Singer, legendary Welcome 2 My Nightmare producer Bob Ezrin, film star Cheech Marin (Cheech & Chong), and THE CULT's Ian Astbury.

Alice was joined by his band: Steve Hunter, one of rock's great guitarists; album co-writer Tommy Henriksen; long-time bassist Chuck Garric; ace drummer Glen Sobel; departing and soon-to-be THIN LIZZY guitarist Damon Johnson; and the newest member of the band, guitar prodigy Orianthi, who made her Alice Cooper live debut at the show.

Alice was further joined on-stage by THE DOORS’ Robby Krieger for covers of The Doors’ classics 'Break On Through' and 'Back Door Man'; while pop siren and Welcome 2 My Nightmare special guest KE$HA rocked Alice' classic 'School’s Out', while aptly dousing the front row in bourbon whiskey.

Welcome 2 My Nightmare sold 18,000 copies in the US in its first week out, landing at #22 on The Billboard 200 chart. In Canada, Welcome 2 My Nightmare landed at #25.

According to Billboard.biz, Rondor Music Publishing has signed Alice Cooper to a worldwide publishing agreement and re-upped the company's publishing agreement with producer Bob Ezrin, who has worked with Cooper as a producer, co-writer, arranger and musician, as well as other artists like KISS, LOU REED, NINE-INCH NAILS and THE DARKNESS.

Cooper released Welcome 2 My Nightmare on September 13th. "Bob played some of the new Alice Cooper record last December and I was literally blown away by the quality of the production and the songwriting collaboration between the two of them," said Rondor Music Publishing president Lance Freed. "At Bob's suggestion I spoke with Alice, and I told him we absolutely had to publish his music. He agreed to join us!"

As previously reported, visitors to London next month can enjoy a Halloween to remember courtesy of Alice Cooper's Halloween Night Of Fear.

The ghoulish show will be arriving at Alexandra Palace on October 29th 2011 as part of a UK tour that also takes in Sheffield, Birmingham, Manchester and Glasgow.

Alice Cooper has been wowing rock fans since 1969 and launched his latest album, Welcome 2 My Nightmare, earlier this month.

During the Halloween Night of Fear, attendees will see the heavy metal legend presiding over a bizarre talent show, in which local performance artists will aim to impress and terrify the crowds in equal measure.

Auditions were conducted in Hyde Park over the summer, allowing Cooper and a panel of judges to pick out three acts to perform on stage on October 29th, with the winner to be decided by the audience.

The evening will also incorporate one of the largest costume parties in the country, with thousands expected to turn up in Halloween garb for a chance to win cash prizes.

Doors open at 17:30 BST, with the show itself running from 18:00 until 23:00, while tickets will cost £33.50 for non-London residents.

Rock devotees can find a wide selection of London hotels at LateRooms.com, such as the Mint Hotel Westminster.
