MERKABAH - 50% Done Writing New Album

Guitarist François Vachon from Québec-based metallers MERKABAH has sent BW&BK; the following update:
"We are pretty busy promoting their newest album, The Realm Of All Secrets. We're presently hard at work booking the band and trying to be heard by the most metal and music listeners as possible. Though it is hard, we have had a good time self-producing as we have now self-promoting our album. We're participating in an event called Le Gala de Musique de Québec which will take place on September 21st at Le Pavillon de la Jeunesse de Québec. Merkabah's The Realm... is a nominee in the best heavy metal album of the year category. We're also waiting for two confirmations to play our biggest shows and venues ever (Woodstock en Beauce and le Festival de la Relève de Thetford Mines) this summer. There'll be more to say about that in a month or two. Also, it is now possible to buy our latest album and our first one (Shadows Never Forget - 2005) directly at our MySpace page. Finally, almost 50% of the writing is done for the follow-up to the Realm."
