MESHUGGAH Drummer Tomas Haake Featured In New Episode Of Drumtalk; Video Streaming

In Episode 5 of Drumtalk, MESHUGGAH drummer Tomas Haake talks about Meshuggah's approach to writing songs and his way to create and handle the complex and challenging polyrhythmic patterns. Furthermore he discusses his personal style apart from Meshuggah's bass drum pattern based music. Finally he reveals his unique and highly developed warm up systems.
The footage was shot during Meshuggah's Koloss tour in 2012 at Batschkapp in Frankfurt, Germany. Watch below:

'I Am Colossus' is a track from the band's eighth studio album, Koloss, which debuted at #17 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart, #24 on the Canadian Top 200 chart, #31 in the World Sales chart, and #48 on the German Media Control chart last April.

Sweden's emerging doom metal/rock outfit KONGH have teamed up with Meshuggah and will be the main support on their Scandinavian tour this May.
