METALLICA Explain Concert Cancellation To Stockholm Crowd; Video Available

As previously reported, METALLICA cancelled tonight's (March 8th) show in Stockholm, Sweden due to singer James Hetfeld falling ill. Video footage of drummer Lars Ulrich, guitarist Kirk Hammett and bassist Robert Trujilo addressing the crowd can be viewed below. The band said that they will try to reschedule the date for May.
According to Stockholmnews.com, Hetfeld had some problems with his stomach and is already out of hospital.
A statement at the venue's website reads as follows:
"Tickets for March 8 will be valid at the new date - keep your ticket! The new date will be announced within soon. All that can't attend at the new concert date may return the tickets at the point of purchase from March 9."
