According to The Times Of India, one of the biggest events scheduled for October 28th this year is METALLICA's show in Gurgaon, India for the first ever F1 race before their massive Sonisphere gig in Bangalore on Ocober 30th.

Words has come down via The Times Of India that Metallica fan Vikram Verma, who runs an advertising firm and wanted to extend an experience of a lifetime to fans to witness Metallica live in India, has launched a campaign called For Whom The Buss Rolls:

"Imagine a bus ride with dedicated Metallica fans and no grumpy aunties and uncles seated next to you. You can jam through the 16-hour journey, and with no logistics to worry about, this bus ride to the concert will be worth every cent. It's the love for the band that's driving me and my team of volunteers."
"The idea is simple. Instead of travelling on our own to the Metallica Concerts, what if a bunch of us metal fans could travel together in a bus. Overwhelmed by a killer response from all the metalheads across the country on our site and facebook page, we decided to organize trips from other cities as well. We spoke (begged and pleaded, too) to many bus operators, went through many logistical nightmares (Diwali season means higher rates) and finally decided.. what the hell.. lets just make it happen.

So here it is guys, the final deal. Hop on board the 'Tallica bus and head bang your way to the Metallica concerts in Delhi & Bangalore. You pay only for the travel from your city to the concert venue and back. You travel with Metallica fans and ONLY metal music."

Go to the official For Whom The Bus Rolls site for more information and to book your spot here.

Metallica recently issued the following update:

Also, this week we have a battery of cool accessories on sale! Express your inner metal and save on items crucial to your existence like water bottles, travel mugs, throw blankets, backpacks, wallets, key chains and more."
