Last night METALLICA performed in front of over 40,000 fans in Lima, Peru at University of San Marcos Stadium, marking one of the biggest live shows in the country's history.

“It's unbelievable that despite 29 years on the road Metallica had not been before in amazing places like Peru,” drummer Lars Ulrich told Livinginperu.com during a pre-show press conference. “When we learned that people were camping outside the venue since Sunday, we could hardly believe it. We appreciate the love from our fans.”
