Morgan Harrington's Mother To Speak At Vigil

According to the Richmond Times-Dispatch, the mother of slain Virginia Tech student Morgan Harrington will speak at a vigil in Charlottesville in memory of victims of sexual violence.
The Daily Progress reports that Gil Harrington will talk about societal violence and her 20-year-old daughter's disappearance and death at the event.
The annual Take Back the Night vigil is scheduled for 5 p.m. Thursday at Washington Park.
Morgan Harrington disappeared in October 2009 after leaving a METALLICA concert at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville. Her remains were found in January 2010 in a hayfield in Albemarle County. No arrests have been made.
