MORTAL SIN Ink Deal With Riot Entertainment
July 18, 2007, 17 years ago
According to MelodicRock.com, legendary Australian thrashers MORTAL SIN have joined the Riot Entertainment roster and will release An Absence Of Faith in the very near future.
A report reads...
Mortal Sin's new album should probably have been called "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger!" It's been used before many times, so they chose An Absence Of Faith instead.
With such an illustrious past stretching back to 1986 beginning with their debut album Mayhemic Destruction and the follow up Face of Despair, Mortal Sin climbed every peak and dived every depth to find the right formula for a new album and a whole generation of new fans. An Absence Of Faith is a rollercoaster ride, with enough twists and turns to jolt even the staunchest of heads.
From the single 'Out of the Darkness' to the nine minute epic 'Tears of Redemption - Lebanon Part II' - and lyrics covering everything from politics, religion, child abuse and relationships, Mortal Sin have pulled a classic out of the hat for 2007.
Once hailed as the next METALLICA, Mortal Sin have become legends in their home country Australia, having been inducted into the Kerrang! Heavy Metal Hall of Fame in 2005 and being the only Australian band to have played with the big five of Thrash - Metallica, SLAYER, ANTHRAX, MEGADETH and TESTAMENT on tours in Australia and overseas.
Further album details to follow.
