PR.com has issued the following press release:

Gabe Reed Productions has confirmed that the 5th Annual Autmus Festival in Laredo Texas will feature MÖTLEY CRÜE's VINCE NEIL, CROOKED X, NICO VEGA, and THE TOADIES.

"I am excited to be working with Texas A & M University to bring a diverse set of artists to Laredo this year that will appeal to all generations of rock fans", commented Gabe Reed.

Now celebrating its 5th annual debut, Autmus Fest is one of the largest music festivals along the US/Mexico Border drawing over 10,000 attendees to Texas A&M; International University in Laredo, Texas. This year, the University celebrates its 40th anniversary and also serves as the event’s inspirational backdrop to celebrate the diversity and cultures of the South Texas region and nation.

After twenty years, a dozen albums and an unparalleled swath of kick-starting the rock n' roll hearts of several generations of fans, you really ought to have Mötley Crüe and Vince Neil figured out by now. Mötley Crüe is one of the most dynamic and energetic bands to ever grace the stages of rock 'n' roll. As the lead singer of this legendary hell-raising band, Vince Neil is without a doubt one of rock 'n' roll's quintessential front men. As a solo artist, Vince’s set is full of your favorite Mötley Crüe hits including 'Dr. Feelgood', 'Girls, Girls, Girls', 'Home Sweet Home', 'Kick Start My Heart' and many others.

The young Coweta, Oklahoma quartet known as Crooked X is on hyper-speed, musically and career-wise... and the world is indeed coming their way. Even before scoring their 2008 deal with EMI, the intense but melodic hard rockers were performing at a nationally televised Dallas Cowboy’s game, opening for KISS in Europe and chronicling their lives on the MTV special “Start a Band - Rock The World.”

For Nico Vega, unpredictability is an art. The Los Angeles trio crafts raw, ethereal and vibrant rock that defies boundaries. The band self-titled debut on MySpace Records was produced by Linda Perry (PINK, GWEN STEFANI) and sparked heavy national radio airplay and excitement. Nico Vega channels a classic swagger a la LED ZEPPELIN, and they update it with soaring, soulful vocals somewhere between FIONA APPLE and PJ HARVEY. Rock needs Nico Vega right now, and there's no doubt they're going to make an impression on everyone that comes under their spell.

It’s been 15 years since The Toadies exploded out of North Texas (Fort Worth, to be exact) and onto the national rock scene with their ferocious full-length debut, Rubberneck, and its breakthrough single, 'Possum Kingdom'. But although the band initially called it quits after the follow-up album, 2001’s Hell Below/Stars Above, it’s almost like they never really went away. 'Possum Kingdom' proved to be one of the most enduring modern rock radio staples of the ’90s, and frontman Vaden Todd Lewis’ patented bloodcurdling scream was put to good use for years in his new band, THE BURDEN BROTHERS. Still, fans kept clamoring for a proper Toadies comeback, and after a handful of on-again, off-again reunion gigs, Lewis, guitarist Clark Vogeler and drummer Mark Reznicek finally made it official by recording a brand new album, last year’s ferocious No Deliverance and an extensive tour.

This year's event was organized by a partnership between Gabe Reed Productions and the Texas A & M Alumni Association. Dallas based Gabe Reed is actively involved in all facets of the entertainment business. Gabe Reed recently promoted and organized KISS' 1st performace in over a decade in South America and is currently organizing a series of concerts to take place in 2010 at the Bird's Nest in Beijing, China.
