MOTÖRHEAD - Lemmy Documentary To Be Screened In Cinemas Across The UK On December 7th

Classic Rock is reporting that Lemmy, the highly-anticipated film exploring the life and career of rock icon and MOTÖRHEAD frontman Lemmy Kilmister, is be screened at cinemas across the UK on December 7th.

Lemmy will receive its official UK premiere on Saturday, October 23rd at 9 PM at the London Film Festival at NFT1 BFI South Bank. Additional screenings will be held that following week in London.
Lemmy directors/producers Greg Olliver and Wes Orshoski will also be taking part in the panel discussion, I'm With The Band on October 24th from 8:30-10PM in the Delegate Centre at BFI South Bank.
Lemmy will be released on DVD by Entertainment One on January 24, 2011.
Lemmy made its world premier in March 2010 during South by Southwest (SXSW) Film and Music Festival in Austin, TX.
Lemmy was directed and produced by Greg Olliver and Wes Orshoski, who spent three years shooting the long-awaited documentary. Lemmy captures the 64-year-old embodiment of the sex, drugs and rock and roll lifestyle as he travels the globe, relaxes at home and plays to sold-out audiences from Seattle to Moscow, among several other surprises. It finds Kilmister candidly opening up about his life and career, and features appearances by such friends/admirers as METALLICA, DAVE GROHL, SLASH, OZZY OSBOURNE, Billy Bob Thornton and professional wrestler Triple H.
