NAGLFAR - Harvest Release Dates Set; Artwork Revealed
January 12, 2007, 17 years ago
NAGLFAR return with a vengeance to reap the furious Harvest of a storm sown more than ten years ago with the release of their debut, Vittra, in 1995, which quickly became an immortal classic of the Swedish black metal scene.
Harvest is coming out on Century Media Records on the following dates: February 23rd (G/A/S, Benulux, Italy), February 26th (France, Spain, Denmark, Norway, Rest Of Europe), February 28th (Finland, Sweden, Hungary), March 6th (North America), March 12th (UK).
Harvest combines their original sound with the massive thrust of later years. True to the Swedish formula of bringing the harsh bleakness of the black style together with the technical prowess and high-speed assault of death metal, NAGLFAR have created another masterpiece of their genre.
The final tracklist is as follows: 'Into The Black', 'Breathe Through Me', 'The Mirrors Of My Soul', 'Odium Generis Humani', 'The Darkest Road', 'Way Of The Rope', 'Plutonium Reveries', 'Feeding Moloch', 'Harvest'.
There will be a limited edition of the album released, containing a bonus DVD including four professionally recorded live clips from the Partysan Festival 2006, the video for the track 'The Perpetual Horrors' as well as an interview with lead singer Kristoffer Olivius. The cover artwork is made by Travis Smith and is pictured on the left.
The band is very pleased to announce that they're heading back to Japan in a few days together with CELTIC FROST and SATYRICON. Check the live dates for further info.
A video for the track 'The Darkest Road' will be filmed by Roger Johansson (ARCH ENEMY, THE HAUNTED, DARK TRANQUILLITY) shortly after the band returns from Japan and an MP3 of the song will be posted online late January, 2007. So stay tuned to join the Harvest.
