BW&BK; has received the following press release:

NEVERLAND, the band formed by Greek singer Iris Mavraki and prog/power metal act DREAMTONE from Turkey, has just inked a record deal with German label AFM Records, home of bands such as DORO, U.D.O, DESTRUCTION, MASTERPLAN, THE POODLES and other great acts!

The band’s debut CD, titled Reversing Time, features great guests from the world of metal such as singers Hansi Kursch (BLIND GUARDIAN), Tom Englund (EVERGREY) and Mike Baker (SHADOW GALLERY), as well as guitarist Gary Wehrkamp (Shadow Gallery). It also features the grandiose skills of the PHILARMONIA ISTANBUL ORCHESTRA.

Iris and Dreamtone recorded a total of 12 tracks at ATM Studios in Istanbul, with Erim Arkman and Alp Turac - who won the Eurovision Song Contest back in 2003 together with singer Sertab Erener (for the song 'Every Way That I Can'). The Philarmonia Istanbul Orchestra recorded at MIAM Studios in Istanbul with conductor Hakan Sensoy. Ethnical Instruments and Sax parts were recorded at Mars Studios in Ankara. The mixing process of Reversing Time took place at Division One Studios (EVERGREY, HAMMERFALL, IN FLAMES etc) in Gothenburg, Sweden. The mastering was handled by senior mastering engineer Leon Zervos (AVRIL LAVIGNE, SANTANA, INXS, SKID ROW, DURAN DURAN, AEROSMITH) at Sterling Sound in New York.

The cover artwork was done by French artist Jean Pascal Fournier (www.jp-fournier.com) who has previously worked with EDGUY and AVANTASIA among others.

Let it be noted that Neverland is the first ever Greek/Turkish rock/metal band to ever get signed by a major independent record label.

Reversing Time is due for a worldwide release through AFM Records in late February 2008.
