Vintage, 37-year old 16mm film of the NEW YORK DOLLS from Toronto’s Massey Hall has surfaced to promote a series of Classic Rock themed auctions from eBay seller EliteWorks.

A Canadian film crew captured the New York Dolls (along with opening act KISS) for a never-before-seen documentary on Glitter Rock, which also includes brief interviews with lead singer David Johansen and rhythm guitarist Sylvain Sylvain. This footage was shot on June 15, 1974 as the Dolls were touring in support of the second album, In Too Much To Soon.

Several one-of-a-kind 1970s-'80s collectables are featured in the Classic Rock auctions, including rare videotape masters, 32-year old reel-to-reels two-track tapes from The Record Plant, tourbooks, test pressings, vintage signed and promotional albums, in-house paperwork, CDs, LP and concert posters, handbills, concert tickets and much more, including items from the following artists:

LED ZEPPELIN, AEROSMITH, BON JOVI, CHEAP TRICK,, DANZIG, THE BLACK CROWES, ERIC BURDON AND THE ANIMALS, JEFF BECK, THE FACES, ROLLING STONES, ROD STEWART, BLUE CHEER, NEW YORK DOLLS, STYX and more.

The auctions may be viewed on eBay.
