European melodic death metal outfit NIGHTRAGE is entering the studio next week to record their brand new yet-untitled album, which will be released via Lifeforce Records in late September.

Greek guitarist Gus G. (FIREWIND, OZZY OSBOURNE) will perform some guest solos on the album, which will also include guest appearances by Tomas Lindberg (AT THE GATES), who is returning to contribute vocals on a couple of tracks, and Tomas S. Eglund from EVERGREY, who is doing a clean vocal part on the album.

Original Nightrage vocalist Tomas Lindberg, who appeared on the band's first two albums: 2003's Sweet Vengeance and 2005's Descent Into Chaos, also visited Studio Fredman in Sweden to record his guest vocal for the upcoming Nightrage album. A short clip can be seen below:

Greek metallic powerhouse FIREWIND, led by Gus G., has announced their first ever headlining North American tour, dubbed Frets Of Fury. This package (sponsored by ESP Guitars, BlackStar Amps and Guitar World) kicks off on October 9th and features a wide array of metal's elite: ARSIS, WHITE WIZZARD and Nightrage.

He also filled in on bass for Firewind this year, when Petros was unable to tour. Nightrage is one of my favorite bands and you definitely got to come down early to check them out. White Wizzard are currently making noise worldwide and they’re definitely a band to watch out for as well.
