NIGHTWISH Announce Last Show Abroad For Current Tour; Band Meets Choreographer Jorma Uotinen At Skånes Dansteater

Finnish symphonic power metallers NIGHTWISH have issued the following updates:

"Before the ultimate final show of the Dark Passion Play World Tour 2007-2009, at the Hartwall Arena on September 19th, 2009, the last chance to see Nightwish live outside Finland will be at the Luzhniki Arena, Moscow, Russia on September 5th, 2009.

The support band at the show will be Sweden's PAIN."

Another message reads: "Skånes Dansteater returns to Malmö Opera in the autumn of 2009 with the new production Black Silk.

With 18 dancers and about 100 participants in the Opera orchestra and choir, this will be one of their biggest performances ever. The evening begins with the Asia-inspired piece Heart Of Silk, choreographed by Pontus Lidberg and ends with a new choreography by Jorma Uotinen to Finnish heavy metal by the metal group Nightwish, reorganized for the symphony orchestra.

Rehearsals are already in full swing.
