Italian metallers NOVEMBRE have issued the following update:

"Classica, Novembre's third, and probably most important album is going be re-released this October 29th.

Originally released in late 1999, it's the first Novembre album released for an international label (Germany's Century Media), which soared the band's status to the Italian masters of sorrow, now known everywhere in the world.

Entirely recorded at the band's Outersound Studios in Rome, it's been mixed at famous producer and KING DIAMOND guitar axe, Andy LaRoque's Los Angered studios, in Gothenburg, Sweden.

The magnificence given by the mix-desk wizard's hand and the blue-steel power of the ten tracks Classica was made of, resulted in a strong promotional effort, which later got the band into an extensive European tour with Metal giants MOONSPELL and KREATOR.

The split between the band and the label a few years later is known history and after all this time fans hunger for this outstanding album has grown only equally to its unavailability in the stores. That's why Novembre's new home, UK's Peaceville Records, decided to buy its rights and to re-release it. August 2008; the band locked themselves up in Outersound Studios once again, to fill in Classica's too short mix holes. Not a remix indeed, but a post-production refinement work.

And last but not least, the mastering Classica deserved has at last been done at Europe's best recording studios, Helsinki's Finnvox.

Well, just as in every respectable re-release, there's bonus stuff; We unearthed a previously unreleased track named

Colour Of The Eye, which we could finally mix properly. One of those songs we'll forever ask ourselves why it was cut off the album! And as if it was not enough, we added demo-versions of the tracks Tales From A Winter To Come and Winter 1941.

Classica tracklist: 'Cold Blue Steel', 'Tales From A Winter To Come', 'Nostalgiaplatz', 'My Starving Bambina', 'Love Story', 'L'Epoque Noire', 'Onirica East', 'Foto Blu Infinito', 'Winter 1941', 'Outro - Spirit Of The Forest'.

Bonus tracks: 'Colour Of An Eye', 'Tales From A Winter To Come' (demo version), 'Winter 1941' (demo version)."
