June 30, 2007, 17 years ago
Legendary lead singer PAUL RODGERS (QUEEN, BAD COMPANY, FREE) has moved his B.B. King’s appearance in New York City from July 5th to September 27th. Tickets are $52 general admission and there are $75 VIP tickets available.
The band consists of guitarists Howard Leese and Kurtis Dengler, bassist Lynn Sorenson, and drummer Jeff Kathan.
Rodgers' latest album, Live In Glasgow, was released on CD April 17th (Eagle Records), and DVD May 29th (Eagle Vision). Led Zeppelin’s Jimmy Page, with whom Paul teamed up in THE FIRM, says “Paul has been, and still is by far, one of the finest talents of our musical genre.”
This platinum-selling singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist has written, recorded, produced and released 28 albums in 35 years. With Free (1968-1973), his voice was immortalized on 'Alright Now'. With Bad Company (1974-1982), he further cemented his reputation on such gems as 'Feel Like Makin’ Love' and 'Can’t Get Enough (Of Your Love)'. With Queen, he tackled that catalog with stunning success on the 2005 Queen + Paul Rodgers World Tour.
