Members of the metal group SLAYER will bring their attitude and gaming skills to Xbox LIVE to play Gold members in Slayer Mode (naturally) in Halo 3. If you're a Gold Member, join us Wednesday, December 16th starting at 7 PM (ET) for the carnage.

The long-running heavy metal band Slayer has just released their eleventh studio album, World Painted Blood, which is soaring up the charts. The music is traditional Slayer, brutal, pounding metal.
Drummer Dave Lombardo, who will be playing in the Game with Fame event, says, “The rhythm riffs on this one make the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. It does it for me the same way those older records did.”
Guitarist Kerry King, also in the event, agrees, “I think it has kind of a retro vibe to it. It sounds like the stuff we wrote in the 80s.”
Along with vocalist Tom Araya and guitarist Jeff Hanneman, Slayer has been playing their brand of metal to sold out crowds for over twenty years, winning two Grammy Awards, and selling millions of albums.
Slayer and MEGADETH will join forces to co-headline American Carnage, the most blistering, the most explosive, and the most eagerly-anticipated mega-tour of the winter - and you do not want to miss it.
