"Postponed" DISTURBING FORESIGHTS Album Confirmed For Release

Netherlands-based label Diety Down Records reports:
"The former members - Iwan (vocals), Koen (bass and backing vox), Cor (drums and backing vox) and Bas (guitars) - of the late Dutch punk/hxc pioneers DISTURBING FORESIGHTS will finally see their 1993 recordings by the name of De-Grunged released.
Recently an agreement with Diety Down Records was inked, which enables the label to do justice to the album, which should already have been a classic in its genre way back. Both the label as well as the musicians involved are thrilled to be able to take part in this.
Currently the release date is slated around March of 2008. The original 1993 takes which were captured at Excess in Rotterdam, Netherlands will be mastered by their original producer, Pieter "Pidah" Kloos (Peter Pan Speedrock, Anarcrust, Motorpsycho, Beef a.o.) at The Void studio in Eindhoven, Netherlands. Artist Robert Lammerding will create the visual side of things.
In the meantime, one track from the forthcoming album, 'This 1's 4 U' , will be featured on the The Harder The Better Vol. 14 compilation CD from Turkey Vulture Records out of Brownsville, WI.
Until then, a number of songs, both old and old new ones, are posted on the band's official MySpace page.
