Rody Walker of Whitby, Ontario based hardcore/progressive outfit PROTEST THE HERO has issued the following band update:

"Shit's been pretty quiet around our parts lately... or at least online anyway... I've been told to write a blog and tell you motherfuckers about the shows coming up.

We're playing a couple nights in Toronto and the surrounding area and there's also a Halifax show, and a Newfoundland show. We're skipping the rest of the East Coast... because there are too many rocks and trees... and Arif's deadly allergic to rock of any form with the exceptions of prog and fraggle.

Also, I think it's worthy of noting that we will be playing Fortress from start to finish... I think... I just saw a poster that said that, and now believe it to be true... I can't even recall the last practice I attended.

There may also be a show at McMaster University sometime... is it McMaster or MacMaster? I also didn't attend any form of post secondary education... I don't know, check the fucking shows listed.

After all that shit we're flying over to the UK with PROPAGANDHI and STRIKE ANYWHERE. It's the first time we've been to Ireland... we look forward to bathing our livers in your warm Guinness.

I've just purchased the complete serious of Star Trek: TNG online... because I'm cooler than you... in fact I'm pretty much the coolest ever."
