RECKON WITH ONE Guitarist Checks In - "I'm Hoping We Can Complete The New Album By The End Of The Year"
October 6, 2011, 13 years ago
Guitarist Mark Anthony Kopernicky (ex-THE EXALTED PILEDRIVER) from RECKON WITH ONE has issued the following update:
"Greetings RWO Fans,It's been a little while since my last update. This is due to a lot of life things happening...and I mean that in a good way. First off our drummer and my good friend Andrew Zenti got married to his lovely girlfriend Cindy in September and that slowed things down a little, but again in a good way! Also, I had some issues with my back again that needed to be dealt with, and over the last couple of weeks those issues have been taken care of.
But now things are slowly rolling again. I should be receiving from Michael all the drum tracks we did in Vancouver and then I can get crackin' on the guitar tracks for the upcoming RWO album, Tornadic. Speaking of Vancouver, we also found out that our bass player Marko will be moving to Vancouver. This will make the band a truly east/west Canadian band. Marko will be recording his bass tracks in Vancouver with Michael and myself sometime in late October or early November. With that said, I'm hoping we can complete the new album by the end of the year. But I'll be honest, I was talking to Michael earlier today and the one thing we are really looking forward to is getting back on stageand bringing the new RWO on the road!! And with all this studio work being done, I'm hoping that we can hit the road for a while.
Also note that we will be posting some more video clips on our YouTube channel as well as song samples from some of our previous albums, for all those new RWO fans who might not be that familiar with our back catalogue. Also, for all you US resident fans, you can now order the RWO Ep (Before The Storm) from our US distributor Retropsect Records. You'll find us under the letter R on their website. Get your copy now because once they are gone ..they are gone!
That's all for now, but keeps your eyes open for more updates soon."
