Winnipeg Free Press reports:

A Toronto woman has been arrested after a Winnipeg police officer was allegedly assaulted at the AC/DC concert Saturday night, police say.

The 29-year-old woman was removed from the rock concert for "disruptive behaviour" around 10:30 PM, police spokesman Const. Jason Michalyshen said.

While being escorted out, she allegedly assaulted the officer. Alcohol was a factor in the incident, Michalyshen said.

The woman faces two counts of assaulting a police officer and was detained at the provincial Remand Centre. Michalyshen also said that noise complaints about the concert appeared to be down.

"More people were aware and did a better job of preparing for the concert," he said.
