RIGOR MORTIS/WARBEAST Vocalist Bruce Corbitt – “Doctors Told Mike Scaccia He Had Less Than 5 Years To Live”

San Antonio cult TV show Robbs MetalWorks conducted a video interview with Rigor Mortis/Warbeast vocalist Bruce Corbitt during the band's stop in the Alamo City on May 8 during their current tour run.

Topics initially focused on Rigor Mortis acclaimed sophomore release, Slaves To The Grave which Corbitt admits he never thought would be released. He also shared candidly about guitarist, Mike Scaccia's final days before his untimely passing on December 23, 2012; commenting that the guitarist was not feeling well on the night of his passing and also sharing for the first time that doctors had given the guitarist less than 5 years to live. As topics turn to Warbeast, Bruce discusses the bands two new members, guitarist, Drew Shoup and bassist (and Bruce's step-son), Lyric Ferchaud and how they have reinvigorated the band with new shows and a release in the works slated for the summer. Finally, Bruce shares his involvement with the Texas Musician's museum and how he lobbied for the inclusion of an official 'metal' section and won. See the chat in its entirety below:
