ROBERT PLANT To Guest On New Studio Album From AMY COOK

According to Jambands.com, former LED ZEPPELIN singer ROBERT PLANT guests on Austin-based singer-songwriter AMY COOK's new album, entitled Summer Skin, due out on August 28th via Roothouse Records/Thirty Tigers. Plant performs on two tunes, 'It’s Gonna Rain' and 'Airplane Driver'. Summer Skin is the followup to 2010’s Let The Light In.
Robert Plant has confirmed another UK date with his new band the SENSATIONAL SPACE SHIFTERS which is comprised of members of his former backing band STRANGE SENSATION and regular collaborator Justin Adams, which draw inspiration "from the roots music of Mississippi, Appalachia, Gambia, Bristol and the foothills of Wolverhampton."
With the low-key debut gig already announced in Gloucester, taking place next Wednesday May 8, Plant has confirmed that the new band will be also be playing at London’s Forum on Thursday, July 12.
These shows will be Plant's first with his new band, ahead of a busy summer festival schedule.
