March 26, 2009, 15 years ago
SARKE, the Norwegian band featuring Sarke (KHOLD, TULUS, OLD MAN'S CHILD, SENSA ANIMA) and Nocturno Culto (DARKTHRONE) recently inked a deal with Indie Recordings. A new e-card gives fans the opportunity to take a sneak listen to samples from the entire album. Check out the e-card here.
As well, Indie Recordings have uploaded another new song - 'The Drunken Priest' at Sarke's official MySpace page.
The band's debut album, Vorunah, was recorded in November, and even though the album was recorded in old-fashioned '70's style to get the true vibe of the music, the sound is brutal, fresh and up to date. This is nothing less than a modern classic – a timeless masterpiece of sinister tonality.
Vorunah is produced by Sarke with Lars-Erik Westby and is set for an April 6th release in Norway, April 27th in Europe. North America and the rest of world release date is TBA.
