SCORPIONS - "Injured" Guitarist Rudolf Schenker - "To Cancel Any Upcoming Performances Would Disappoint The Fans So That Was Out Of The Question"

As reported earlier today, SCORPIONS guitarist Rudolf Schenker hurt his foot during the third song - 'Love 'Em Or Leave 'Em' - at Friday night's (November 30th) show in Clermont, France. Schenker has issued the following statement regarding the incident:
"Dear fans, during our show last Friday in Clermont Ferrand, France I tore a muscle in my foot. Therefore, I was forced to play the rest of the performance in just one area of the stage. To cancel that concert or to cancel any upcoming performances would disappoint the fans so that was out of the question. I hope that all the fans will understand that I will not be able to exhibit my full stage energy until my injury heals. I have consulted with Germany's best sports medicine physician and I am receiving the best treatment. I look forward to the future shows where I am able to give my maximum stage performance.
