Vocalist SEBASTIAN BACH is featured in a new interview with Rock Confidential, discussing his new album Kicking & Screaming. An excerpt is available below:

RC: You’ve got Nick Sterling on guitar now. He’s what, 20 or 21? Did you ever have any concerns that his age may play a factor when it comes to songwriting?

Bach: "Not really with any of the songwriting because he fucking crushed me with songs. It was ridiculous. My God! They say you’ve got your whole first life to write your first record. This is Nick’s first-time, big-time worldwide record. He’s done solo albums on his own before. He’s had all his life to come up with these riffs that nobody’s heard. I’m lucky as fuck. Now I’m worried about topping this record! (laughs) I’ll do it somehow."

RC: I’m a guitar tone freak. Guys like TED NUGENT, ACE FREHLEY, BILLY GIBBONS, DIMEBAG DARRELL. You hear their guitar tones and you know there’s something special. When you start working on a new album are you involved in finding the guitar tones?

Bach: "Absolutely. I’ve got lead singer’s disease! I’m fucking demanding…"

RC: Are you sure dude? I’ve never heard that about you before!

Bach: "People can say I’m hard to work with. I’m not hard to work with if you’re fucking amazing! (laughs) These guys love working with me. I’ve had pretty much the same band for seven years – Nick’s just the new guy. I know how high quality '18 & Life' is and 'I Remember You' and 'Monkey Business'. Those are amazing recordings and I’ve got to plans of putting out something of less quality. I want to maintain the body of work being top-notch. Thank God for Frontiers Records because they’re the ones that made that happen."
