BW&BK; has received the following press release:

Brazilian metallers SHADOWSIDE have just been confirmed to support IRON MAIDEN this Sunday on March 15th at the Interlagos Race Track in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

This will be one of the first shows on Brazilian lands that frontwoman Dani Nolden, guitarist Raphael Mattos, bassist Edu Simões and drummer Fabio Buitvidas will perform to promote their forthcoming record Dare To Dream. The album was produced and mixed by Dave Schiffman (SYSTEM OF A DOWN, AUDIOSLAVE, AVENGED SEVENFOLD) and mastered by Howie Weinberg (IRON MAIDEN, METALLICA, AEROSMITH) and will be released under LCM/SkyBlue Music in Brazil.

"It will be a pleasure and an honor to support Iron Maiden, one of the greatest heavy metal bands of all time! Playing at an event that big and extraordinary will forever be in the Shadowside history. Iron Maiden have always been an influence to us, not only musically but we are also inspired by their professionalism and they are a quality reference in everything we do," said lead singer Dani Nolden.

After three appearances in Spain and four tours through the USA, they are extremely happy to be chosen to exhibit the Brazilian heavy music. "We are very proud of opening for them and you can be sure we'll give 100% energy and explosive music! Iron Maiden already knows what to expect from the wonderful crowd of our country but we are counting on everyone's support so they can go up on stage with thousands of people on fire already!" completes Dani.

Songs such as 'Highlight', 'Red Storm', 'Nation Hollow Mind', 'Baby In The Dark', 'In the Night' and 'Memories', featured on the band's most recent setlists, are to be performed on this appearance.
