SIN CITY SINNERS vocalist/guitarist Todd Kerns (SLASH) has issued the following update:

"People of Earth. Greetings.

Everyone is full of questions so I’m hear to answer what I can.

I go into surgery Friday (July 16th) for a retinal detachment in my right eye. The recovery time is longer than I would like but the outcome looks good.

I will, unfortunately, be out of commission for the next several weeks so I cannot say what tours or shows I will be a part of until we know how things look down the road.

I can say that regardless of when and where I will be back in action as soon as physically possible.

Thanks to everyone for the positivity. It means more than I can express.

I will see you soon. I have been playing almost every night for God knows how many years now and the idea of not doing so for a while is a bit unnerving. I plan to make the best of it. There’s always a new song to write.

I will see you all soon enough. Until then support your Sinners and enjoy Slash and friends!"

Further updates to follow.

The Sinners is a monthly comedic series featuring a "rocumentary" look at the lives of Las Vegas' Sin City Sinners.

In webisode one, The Sub, the band becomes worried when Slash (VELVET REVOLVER, ex-GUNS N' ROSES) hires Sinners lead singer Todd Kerns for a summer tour and are forced to hold auditions for a possible substitute singer.

As previously reported, Sin City Sinners will be releasing an acoustic EP, Broken Record, this month. The CD features new versions of your favorite Sinners songs and previously unreleased music. There will only be a limited pressing of CDs and then it will become available on iTunes. Todd, Brent, Rob and Michael will host a CD release party and performance at Sunset Station in mid-July.
