SKINLAB singer/bassist Steev Esquivel has issued the following update:

"What's up friends, thought we'd drop some news and let you know what's been going on Skinland.

First off, we're super stoked to announce our return to Hawaii, it's been nearly 10 years since our last trip over with our boys in PISSIING RAZORS and local favs CRUCIBLE.

Well it's on again... We've been invited back on May 2nd to take part on a benefit for Abused Children in Hawaii at The Pipeline Cafe with our boys Crucible. We're really looking forward to getting back there specially for such a good cause. Last time was an amazing trip, the shows were killer.

From what we hear the buzz in on, should be fuckin bad ass!! One more shows is in the works, we'll keep you looped.

Doors open at 6:00 pm, All Ages. $20

A few West Coast dates just rolled in, we'll be heading up North and hitting Eureka - May 15th, Portland - May 16th, Seattle - May 17th - more info and shows coming in, we'll keep y'all looped!!

Oh yeah, did i mention Snake breaking his knee?? Yeah it's true and in all places.... Hawaii!!!!

Yup that's right, while on vacation this past week Snake shattered his knee and is in a full leg caste up to his hip. Needless to say he's in a lot of pain, but feels he's gonna be good enough to carry on with the shows. Snake has never been one to let us down, this is just one more example of his dedication to the art of suffering!!

That's it for now, more news next week. Lot's of killer stuff happening... we'll keep ya looped."

Skinlab will release their first ever live album, Skinned Alive!, on April 29th via Starz Music / BCD Music Group.

Recorded at The Metro in Oakland on June 3rd, 2007, Skinned Alive! contains the following 12 tracks: 'Intro', 'So Far From The Truth', 'Excellerate', 'Slave The Way', 'Second Skin', 'When Pain Comes To Surface', 'Dissolve', 'Scapegoat', 'No Sympathy For The Devil', 'Paleface', 'Know Your Enemies', 'Face Of Aggression'.
