SLASH Bassist TODD KERNS - "I Wonder If SKID ROW Will Ever Bury The Hatchet With Sebastian"

SLASH bassist Todd Kerns (SIN CITY SINNERS, AGE OF ELECTRIC) has posted his latest blog; an excerpt follows:
"I left you last time in Sturgis. The alternate universe of Sturgis. What a bizarre thing Sturgis is. I mean as far as the gig goes. The rest of the day is pretty chill and kinda what you’d expect. People from all over who share a love for life on 2 wheels and V Twin engine get together to live as one for a few days. It’s pretty rad. For those that don’t know it’s a festival of sorts for the motorcycle enthusiasts better known as bikers. The crazy thing is during the show it isn’t just the usual applause you’re accustomed to hearing between songs. Mixed in with the applause and squeals of your usual festival audience is the thunderous roar of a gazillion Harley Davidsons revving in approval. Pretty bizarre at first. We were told that OZZY was totally thrown by it when he played there. Playing such an otherworldly gig should call for an otherworldly response from your audience. Pretty cool, actually.
Why do I not have a bike? Probably cuz I’d kill myself on it.
GILBY CLARKE got up and did 'Paradise City' with us. Gilby’s a good man. I last played with him with The Sinners back in Vegas. That was another great night. Gilby, Rikki Rachtman and a bunch of their cohorts had ridden all the way from LA to Sturgis. They are the real deal, those guys.
SKID ROW opened for us and it was fun to watch the guys do all those great old tunes. I wonder if those guys will ever bury the hatchet with Sebastian. I think it would be good for both parties. Seeing them back together would be a lot of fun. They’d have to get Rob Affuso back too and make it a true reunion. Ya never know."
