SLASH - New Solo Album Goes Platinum Down Under

The 2010 self-titled solo release from guitar hero SLASH (VELVET REVOLVER, ex-GUNS N' ROSES) has been certified platinum in Australia by the Australian Record Industry Association (ARIA), selling more that 70,000 copies in that country.
Slash briefly stated, "I'm receiving an Aussie platinum plaque from Sony for the solo record! Thanks to all the awesome Aussie fans who made it happen!"
