SLASH Performs KISS Classic On Final Episode Of Lopez Tonight; Video Posted

SLASH (VELVET REVOLVER, ex-GUNS N' ROSES) made an appearance on George Lopez' final show last night (August 11th). TBS gave the ratings starved Lopez Tonight the axe on Wednesday.
In the footage below, George has some final thoughts about the show, words for his guests, and above all, his fans. Plus, Michael Bearden & The Ese Vatos perform KISS' 'Rock And Roll All Nite' with an all-star band, including Slash.
Said Slash about his appearance: "The Lopez show was a blast! Check it out!"
Slash is currently recording his forthcoming, second solo album, expected to be released in March/April 2012. R&B; superstar MARY J. BLIGE is set to appear on the release, and has recorded her session with Slash.
In a brief update, Slash states: "Just finished a session with Mike Clink engineering on a track with Mary J. Blige. Sounds killer!"
Slash has been chosen as this year's Road Recovery honouree. He will be performing the Road To Recovery’s annual concert in New York, NY at the Best Buy Theater on September 13th.
Slash will be performing with Matt Sorum (GUNS N' ROSES, VELVET REVOLVER), Duff McKagan (GUNS N' ROSES, VELVET REVOLVER, LOADED), Gilby Clarke (ex-Guns N’ Roses), MC5’s Wayne Kramer, and more.
