SLASH Putting Material Together For Next Album; New Video Interview Available

Triple M Sydney's Grill Team caught up with SLASH (VELVET REVOLVER, ex-GUNS N' ROSES) during his first Aussie festival appearance at the Soundwave 2011 festival, and asked him what the future holds for the guitarist.

Slash told Triple M's Chris Page that he is currently putting stuff together for a new album. Watch the video below to see Slash reveal details on his next album:

On March 2nd, Slash was joined on stage by WOLFMOTHER frontman Andrew Stockdale at The Tivoli in Brisbane, Australia. They performed the song 'By The Sword' as part of the encore. Check out fan-filmed footage below:

As previously reported, Slash's self-titled solo album has been certified platinum in Australia by the Australian Record Industry Association (ARIA), selling more that 70,000 copies in that country.

Slash briefly stated, "I'm receiving an Aussie platinum plaque from Sony for the solo record! Thanks to all the awesome Aussie fans who made it happen!"
