Roadrunner Records invite SLIPKNOT fans to check out an exclusive interview with the band, this afternoon at 3 PM on www.525.com.

As previously reported, KansasCity.com has issued the following report from Alan Sculley:

Slipknot singer Corey Taylor hasn’t always been excited about his band’s future.

In a 2004 interview for it's third CD, he said he thought one more album might be made and the nine-member band would probably hang up its gear (including the scary masks) and call it a career.

Taylor said then Slipknot was the kind of band that, if it stayed around too long, would only become a weaker version of itself.

He voiced that outlook again in a 2007 MTV interview that preceded the making of All Hope Is Gone, the studio CD Slipknot released last year.

But at least one member of Slipknot, percussionist Chris Fehn, has a whole different outlook.

“I think we’re going to overtake METALLICA,” Fehn said. “We’re going to overtake any band that sells out soccer arenas in Europe. We’re going to do it. We’re the last chance as far as the world goes.”
