SONIC SYNDICATE guitarist Robin Sjunnesson has checked in with the following update:

"On March 30th we released the breaking news about Roland (Johansson) leaving Sonic Syndicate. When we found our Roland was leaving we began directly searching for a new singer, and will continue until we find the perfect replacement!

We’re getting a lot of emails everyday and we’ve been looking at every single one of them (so don’t worry if you haven’t received an e-mail from us). We’ve been picking out the best of all the guys so far, and I think we will begin next week trying some of them! This is actually very interesting and we're very positive that all this excitement is happening!

The tour we did together with DEATHSTARS was amazing! It contained beer, glam, tattoos and late night conversations. We had a lot of great moments and will have fun memories for the rest our lives. Every show was special, and so much happened on that tour, to much to even be written down here. Deathstars are really good guys and we had a great time together.

Thanks to everyone who was at the shows! You guys were AMAZING!

There’s a lot of cool gigs that have been booked this summer which we're really looking forward too such as Nova Rock (w/METALLICA, KILLSWITCH ENGAGE, LIMP BIZKIT), Hultsfred Festival (w/THE KILLERS, DROPKICK MURPHYS) and Peace & Love Festival (w/MÖTLEY CRÜE). It will be a wonderful summer and we'll play with a lot of bands we’ve been listening to for a long time. Sonic Syndicate is also confirmed to play one of the biggest LAN-Party: DREAMHACK. This is actually really cool and something we’re stoked about. I hope there will be like a Guitar Hero section, where I can be all they and kicking everyone’s asses. One of the recent confirmed shows is Kalmar (Sweden) together with the rocking and good looking girls in CRUCIFIED BARBARA.

This year will be a year to remember in Sonic Syndicate’s History. A year full of excitement and joy! Hope to see you all at the festivals!"
