SONIC SYNDICATE vocalist Richard Sjunnesson recently checked in from the Eastpak Antidote Tour:

"So here we are finally doing our first European tour after a brilliant and not to say very hectic festival summer. I must say the gigs in the United Kingdom have bin absolutely wicked! However it somehow feels like we´re a bunch of privates in a platoon full of war veterans on this tour, seeing the most of the crew and other bands have been around for decades while we just started our journey. Which is of course positive in every way for us since there´s a knowledge bank with endless supplies of touring experience that we can take part off and that will hopefully help us evade a lot of pitfalls others before us walked straight into. You have to start somewhere right?

However, you may ask yourself what Sonic Syndicate can actually bring in return for this invaluable information, well... I was about to say absolutely nothing but then it struck my mind our guitarist Robin can offer you a fine collection of the latest addition of massively abused words. He´s steaming fresh out of high school and automatically graced with a black belt in modern, severely damaged, corrupted and incorrect language. So you´re all welcome to exchange some words with him and see what phrases you can absorb into your vocabulary (Please take note that Sonic Syndicate can´t be held responsible for whatever brain damage or hemorrhage this may cause!). Anyway what we lack in touring experience we´ll try to make up for in energetic and good stage show!

With that said I´m sure you´re absolute dying to know what´s going on in the DARK TRANQUILLITY / Sonic Syndicate tour bus after curfew? Well, except for a never ending party that will last until our friends in Dark Tranquillity leave the tour after the German dates for some gigs in Greece. There is this Guitar Hero II event going on almost every night with Robin on top of the food chain totally scorching them songs at 'Expert' difficulty. It´s a hell of a show to be fair! If you actually want to beat him be sure to give him a fair trade of the rider and he´ll drop down to 'Easy' mode in no time. While the Xbox is not being camped by the Guitar Hero junkies me and Roland is trying to get on top of Halo 3 at 'Legendary' but we´re being heavily distacted of all the awesome party opportunities in every city so we don´t expect to complete that mission until the very end of the tour. Anyway hope to see you all on the flipside of the stage in the coming weeks!"
