"As we near the release of Soulfly's 7th studio album Omen on May 25th, we catch up with frontman and metal legend Max Cavalera to gain some insight into the upcoming album.

We watched last week as Max discussed how he came across artist David Ho to commission the cover art for the upcoming album, and this week we learn how 'Lethal Injection' -- the track that Prong's vocalist/guitarist Tommy Victor lends his skills to -- was written, and how the collaboration came about.

Soulfly will release their new album, Omen, on May 21st in Europe, the 24th in the UK and the 25th in North America via Roadrunner Records. The album will be available on April 28th in Japan with an undisclosed bonus track. Artwork for the album can be seen below (standard edition at left, special edition at right):
