SPEED X Joined By Former DOUBLEDRIVE Bassist

SPEED X, the new band featuring BLACK LABEL SOCIETY guitarist Nick Catanese (lead guitar, background vocals), QUEENSRŸCHE guitarist Mike Stone (lead vocals, guitar) and DOUBLEDRIVE drummer Mike Froedge have been joined by bassist Josh Sattler (DoubleDrive).
The band states:
"Wassup, freaks!This spring and summer has been an extremely busy time for all of us, but we've finally got some news....
First we have a new member!!! We've added Mike Froedge's bassist from his previous band, DoubleDrive, and this guy ROCKS! He and Mike have been playing together for years, and together they form an unstoppable rhythm section!

So now Mike Stone will be playing mostly guitar, rather than bass, as he vocally abuses the audience! ;)
So think about that.... A massive two-guitar attack from Nick and Stoney will be coming your way soon!!!
Stoney is on tour with the 'Ryche for the moment, but Nick, Mike F., and Josh are in Mike's studio in Atlanta NOW, working on more new songs for the album!!! This latest batch of songs is going to rock even MORE than the small samples you've already heard, kids! So watch your heads! Once we get Stoney here to sing on them, we'll post some more samples for you here....
We've also had a video genius and a great photographer around to document the studio action, so you'll be seeing some of that in the near future....
