May 30, 2007, 17 years ago
Liverpool, England's Cliff-Burton-worshipping crossover thrash monsters SSS (SHORT SHARP SHOCK) will be recording their debut BBC radio 1 session for the Lock-up show, hosted by Mike Davies on May 31st.
Tracks scheduled to appear are 'The Beast', 'The Toxic Bee' (new), 'SSS' and 'Warhorse'. The session is sure to showcase the band's powerful take on the "New Breed" of thrash metal currently gathering a storm in clubs. Expect songs about Rollercoasters, fun, and thrash in general, if not a song or 2 about their late great hero - Cliff Burton (RIP).
Look out for the SSS Radio 1 session coming soon, http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/mikedavies/
