February 18, 2007, 17 years ago
Michigan-based metallers STILL REMAINS are hard at work recording their second studio album, tentatively titled The Serpent, in Los Angeles with producer, Steve Evets (STORY OF THE YEAR, HE IS LEGEND, SAVES THE DAY). Here's the latest update on their progress from vocalist T.J. Miller:
"OK...here is what's going on: I'm totally freaking out. Listening back to these songs right now is so invigorating. Bone is finished on drums. Mike (Church - guitar) and Jordan (Whelan - guitar) are about seven or eight songs in. Mike and I just started working on some vocals last night...getting the levels right. It's all coming together so well.I just wanted to get everyone an update and let you know that all is well in the studio. We have been laying almost dormant from the public eye for so long and we can't wait to see everyone on the road again. Tour plans are in the works for this year, so stay tuned for more updates. See you soon."
As previously reported, Still Remains have revealed the tentative song titles for The Serpent. They are as follows: 'Anemia In Your Sheets', 'Stay Captive', 'Dancing With The Enemy', 'Avalanche', 'Maria', 'Dropped From The Cherry Tree', 'The Wax Walls Of An Empty Room', 'An Undesired Reunion', 'The Serpent', 'I Could Never Be Your Lover', 'Eye Of The Storm', 'Float Like A Feather', 'What I Love?', 'The River Song', 'Sleepless Nights Alone'.
The album is slated for a summer release via Roadrunner.
