SUICIDE SILENCE Announces Headlining US Tour

SUICIDE SILENCE are currently gearing up for a headlining U.S. tour with Despised Icon as direct support and WINDS OF PLAGUE and SEE YOU NEXT TUESDAY occupying the opening slots. The trek, which kicks off on September 2nd and runs through September 26th, officially kicks off the worldwide touring campaign for their much anticipated debut album, The Cleansing, which is set for a September 15th release.
Mitch Lucker (vocals) states: "It's great to be headlining again, and we're extremely excited about the tour package we've put together. We'll be playing some new material from The Cleansing on these dates, so come out and give it a listen. It's gonna be a party!"
The group will immediately follow up this headlining run by joining up with UNEARTH, DARKEST HOUR and AUGUST BURNS RED for a month-long US tour, which kicks off on September 27th. A video for the track 'The Price of Beauty' was recently shot with acclaimed director Matt Bass (THE ESOTERIC, BLACK DAHLIA MURDER). Look for it to make its online debut later this month.
The Cleansing was recorded with acclaimed producer John Travis (STATIC-X), while the renowned Tue Madsen (HIMSA, THE HAUNTED) handled mixing duties.
