SWALLOW THE SUN have confirmed five shows for Finland (**) in November, which will preceed the European tour in support of their new album, New Moon. The band's schedule is now as follows:

As previously reported, INSOMNIUM and OMNIUM GATHERUM will support Swallow The Sun for the European leg of the tour
In advance of this tour, Swallow The Sun will be appearing at this year’s Metalfest in Dudley, UK on September 26th.
Spinefarm Records UK will release Swallow The Sun's fifth studio album in the UK on November 9th. The album will be released in North America on the 10th.
New Moon is being produced and mixed by Jens Bogren, who has previously worked with such acts as KATATONIA, OPETH, PARADISE LOST and AMON AMARTH.
Kai Hahto (WINTERSUN, ex-ROTTEN SOUND) has been recruited to play drums on the album, following the recent departure of longtime skinsman Pasi Pasanen.

Spinefarm Records UK recently re-issued the bands’ first two albums – The Morning Never Came (originally released in 2003) and Ghosts Of Loss (2005). The classic Hope album, which charted in the Finnish Top 3 back in 2007, has also been re-issued by Spinefarm in the UK.
