New England-based metal band SWARM OF EYES are scheduled to play two live shows headlined by legendary Massachusetts act OVERCAST.

Overcast - featuring vocalist Brian Fair of SHADOWS FALL and guitarist Mike D'Antonio of KILLSWITCH ENGAGE - are kicking off 2014 with a series of January shows scattered throughout their old New England stomping grounds.

Two of the local Overcast shows are sold out. However, fans of all ages can catch a rare glimpse of Overcast and their comrades-in-metal, Swarm Of Eyes, MECHANICAL PROCESS, and I GUARD THE THRONE at Simon's 677 in Providence, RI on Sunday January 19th. Local metal titans THY WILL BE DONE have recently been added to the bill along with RED EQUALS MELTDOWN, rounding out what promises to be too much metal for the small state of Rhode Island to contain.

Swarm Of Eyes are also slated to be on the ticket for a January 18th show at Ralph's Diner in Worcester, MA. The 21+ show also features fellow New England metal mainstays ACAREO, SEXCREMENT, and CHEECH. Tickets for this event have already sold out.

"This show in Providence will go down in the books as one of the heaviestVand best local shows in the state for years to come," said Swarm of Eyes vocalist Randy Carter. "It's been well over a decade since Overcast last graced the stage in Rhode Island, so with the huge metal scene there, and the proximity of Connecticut and Massachusetts to the state, the show should be packed and tearing faces off. The Ralph's Diner show in Massachusetts sold out in four days, so everyone who missed out on that gig needs to head down a few minutes south and get to this show!"

Tickets are still available for the all-ages Overcast show at Simon's 677 in Providence. Tickets can be purchased in advance for $13.00 through Brown Paper Tickets or for $15.00 at the door on the night of the show.

These two shows alongside Overcast will be the first in a string of upcoming 2014 live events for Swarm Of Eyes. The band is presently working

on material for their second studio album, a follow-up to their 2011 debut, DesigningThe Dystopia.
